start2grow
If you want to start a business offering technological and/or digital products or services, start2grow is the right place for you. Founders from all over Germany can take part in the nationwide start-up competition organized by Wirtschaftsförderung Dortmund. There is a total of €94,000 in prize money to be won.
start2grow participants also have access to an active network of 600 coaches who cover a wide range of specialist areas with their expertise. Individual mentors can also be arranged if required. In addition, founders benefit from a variety of workshop and event formats that support them in further developing their business models.
The next competition starts with start2grow-Match on 29/10/2025.

The initiative aims to establish a leading European center for the development of high-growth deep tech startups.
Through the BRYCK Startup Alliance, science-based spin-offs will be specifically promoted in the future and the transfer of innovative technologies from cutting-edge research to industry will be accelerated. The initiative is one of 10 startup factories nationwide that are funded by the federal government with up to 10 million euros and are intended to become internationally visible beacons of the German startup ecosystem.
